Our Story
A Neighborhood Kitchen Doing It the Old Way
Tucked into a small storefront off FM 3351, Taquito's Mexican Restaurant has built its reputation one breakfast taco at a time. It's counter-service and no-frills inside, but the food is anything but — tortillas are made fresh in house, salsas are cooked from scratch, and the lunch plates come out of the kitchen the way a grandmother would make them, not a chain.
Regulars keep coming back for the fajita plates and the enchiladas verdes, and it's not unusual to hear customers compare the chicken quesadillas to the ones their own grandmothers used to make. That's the standard the kitchen holds itself to: real ingredients, real technique, and a menu that doesn't cut corners just because the tables are simple.

“The food was great! Awesome, darn near fell out my seat when I tried the beef fajita plate, the rice, beans. My wife and kids had the enchiladas and they agreed. The tortillas were homemade, you can tell. I'd recommend anyone in the area to stop by.”
